Professional-grade liquid RTV style gasket sealer.
- Translucent gray, dries clear
- Oil resistant
- Rated to 200°C / 400°F

- 15-minute initial set time, can be tightened down immediately with no "hand tighten, wait 90 minutes, tighten to spec" interval
Can be used on cam covers on pushrod Volvos with our HD rubber gasket, or on newer overhead cam RWD Volvo applications where cam cover gaskets bend over the camshaft and have a tendency to leak.

Additional Technical Information
On newer engines found in FWD and AWD Volvos, special anaerobic sealant is used on the cast aluminum oil pans and valve covers/camshaft carriers. Do not use RTV when doing valve cover, cylinder head, or oil pan work, as RTV cures in a much thicker layer compared to the thin anaerobic sealant. Use Mahle, Elring, or Genuine Volvo anaerobic sealant instead.
