2004-2007 Volvo XC70

- Sold in the USA from 2001 through 2007 model year
- Four door cross-over style station wagon
- USA models have 5 cylinder light pressure turbocharged engines
- USA models were AWD (All Wheel Drive) and have 5-speed AW50-55 automatic transmissions
2008-2017 Volvo XC70
- Based on Volvo P3 platform.
- Sold in the USA from 2008 through 2017 model year
- Four door cross-over style station wagon
- USA models mostly have 6 cylinder naturally aspirated and turbocharged engines
- Some 2015-2017 XC70s have 4 cylinder and 5 cylinder turbocharged engines
- USA models all have automatic transmissions:
- 6-speed TF-80 with five and six cylinders
- 8-speed TG-81 with four cylinder engines
- USA models were mostly AWD, though the oddball FWD 2.0, 2.5, and 3.2 can be found after 2010
