IPD has created the ultimate loaded Quick Strut for your R model. It is safe to say that the 4C active strut and rear shock play a significant role in your Volvos handling capabilities.  If you are struggling with the “chassis settings service required” warning, more likely you have a fault in your 4C system. The good news is there are specific fault codes related to the front struts and rear shocks.

We know that investing in a new set of struts and shocks is not easy on the pocketbook, but the investment is well-worth it once it is working properly. The 4C suspension is not something that fails prematurely.  Now that most R models have higher mileage on them, we tend to forget how incredible a new set of 4C suspension really is. Monroe was the original manufacture for Volvo’s 4C suspension.  The 4C technology allows drivers to choose multiple setting changing the characteristics such as hardness through controlled dampening.
