Rear Suspension Coil Springs, touring - P3 XC60

Modern independent rear suspension (IRS) Volvos don't have a lot of suspension travel in the rear: toss some passengers and bags in the trunk for a weekend, and the car will ride like an ox-cart down the road as the suspension compresses fully and bottoms out on its bump stops. If your car has lots of miles on it and your springs are worn and sagging, you may even be hitting the bump stops with no passengers or cargo!

If you're not looking for a stiff set of sport or overload springs, IPD has a good option for you: touring springs. We've analyzed the damper rates on factory-style replacement shocks like OEM Volvo, OES Sachs, and Bilstein B4 Touring, and we've designed a goldilocks "just right" spring that's soft enough to ride well with these shocks, but stiff enough to minimize bottoming out at standard loads.

For durability and longevity, we've also specc'd these springs with a thick powdercoating and CrSi spring steel, ensuring a nice ride for years to come.
