Check on this seal whenever you're doing a clutch or rear main seal job: if your transmission's bellhousing is full of gunk, odds are good this seal is leaking gear oil that's mixing with clutch disc dust.
Potential Product Fitment Issues
M56 5-speed transmissions may have either this 44mm OD seal 8675580 or 41mm OD seal 1381798. You must measure your old seal to determine which you need.
