The factory radiators on most Volvo models (and most cars in general) suffer from an inherent flaw on the radiators themselves. The metal core is affixed to plastic end tanks which are prone to cracking from age and being heat cycled for years and years. We also see issues where the upper radiator hose neck can shear clean off which results in a catastrophic loss of coolant within seconds. Do88 produces an all metal radiator which eliminates the problem with the plastic end tanks and also to put a cherry on top, incorporates a larger core for better cooling! Product Fitment Notes & Potential Issues

1999 and newer models utilize the metal fitting on the top of the radiator for the bleed hose for the overflow bottle. 1998 and older models do not use this and the provided cap and clamp should be used to block this port off. 

Additionally this radiator can be used on models with automatic or manual transmissions as well as models with or without the oil cooler on the radiator. (1999 models and later have the oil cooler mounted on the engine rather than in the radiator itself; if you have a 1999+ car with an oil pan mounted oil cooler, you need this radiator instead). This radiator includes four fittings to utilize oil cooling ports or transmission cooler ports. Use which ones are applicable to your car and leave the unused ones blank!
