Product Fitment Notes & Potential Issues
Aftermarket struts are pretty much one-size-fits-all, however Volvo specifies different struts with different valving for different trim lines. For example, a Turbo model has a sportier ride from that factory than a non-turbo base model.
We recommend using a quality aftermarket replacement whenever possible, but if you want to exactly match the ride quality your car originally had from the factory, you will need to use the struts Volvo specifies for your car. This means you might also need to replace the suspension springs since they wear out slowly over time also.
This strut fits on to vehicles with specific front strut codes on the Product Identification Plate:
