When designing and building the R model Volvo ticked off most the “cool stuff” boxes for the car.

• Lots of power? Check!
• Big brakes? Check!
• Fancy adjustable suspension? Check!
• Excellent lighting? Check! Err, wait a second…

While yes, Volvo did spec out upgraded Bi-Xenon headlamps for the R model, they still fell a bit short of the mark in illumination. Sure the headlamps are OK, but they’re not great and the factory fog lamp options are also just that – OK. Until now.

Our PIAA-powered LED fog light kit provides a new option. Featuring PIAA’s excellent 2.75 inch LP270 LED fog light kit, our kit replaces the underpowered factory fog lamps with SAE compliant fog beam patterned lights for superior visibility in inclement weather conditions. Designed to integrate smartly and cleanly with the front end of your R, our kit installs easily with minimal fuss. Direct plug-and-play wiring means no running new wires and no fighting trying to feed wires and switches through the firewall into the cabin. Our kit utilizes the existing fog lamp circuit and powers on and off with your current in dash fog lamp button.

We designed the included mounting brackets specifically for the R model so you can just bolt it into the existing mounting location in the front end of the car. The only modification required is a bit of trimming to the opening in the fog lamp grilles to allow clearance for the slightly larger PIAA lamp diameter.
