Product Description
Trunk supports don't last forever. They can age slowly or fail suddenly with sudden temperature changes. You'll realize the failure immediately when the lid suddenly contacts you -- usually in the head. These supports are exceptionally heavy duty and are the perfect answer for wagons with spoilers and/or speakers installed on the tailgate.
This early style shock packs an extra punch -- this version is specifically designed for wagons equipped with only one powered shock. 140 wagons and early 240 wagons used a shock on one side to assist opening and a latching rod on the other end to lock it open. If your wagon still has that setup this is the shock for you. Many early wagons have been retrofitted with assist shocks on both sides.
