*2001-2002 V70 and XC70 models came equipped from the factory with HB3A bulbs in the high beam position. HB3A and HB3 bulbs have the same base and connector, but the HB3A used a straight base and the HB3 uses a 90 degree base. The more standard 90 degree base HB3 bulb is a direct fit for 2001-2002 models that originally came equipped with straight base, HB3A bulbs.
