IPD Garage Sale 2024

Main Lot Car Show

The main lot car entries range from custom builds to low-mile, well-maintained beauties for everyone to appreciate.  We do our best to showcase many different models in the main lot.  If your car does not make it into the main lot, we invite everyone to come join us and display their Volvo in the Show N’ Shine area.  This is an extremely popular area for enthusiasts to hang out. A $5.00 donation is requested to park in the Show N' Shine area.  All proceeds go to Gales Creek Camp Foundation. The Show N' Shine is "first come first park" be early if you plan to attend.  We look forward to seeing you here.   

Show N' Shine

CALLING ALL VOLVOS!  If your car is not featured in the main parking lot, that doesn't mean it doesn't deserve to be seen!

Cars in the Show N' Shine will be across the street from IPD in the parking lot of MESD. For a $5.00 donation you can park your Volvo along with other enthusiasts, making it easy for everyone to browse their favorite models. Cars parked in the Show N' Shine area are on a first come first served basis! You can enter the Show N' Shine area beginning at 8:00am. All proceeds raised from the Show N' Shine will be donated to Gales Creek Camp Foundation in Gales Creek,Oregon. We can't wait to see your ride!

If you have parts laying around that you don't need anymore, reserve a swap meet spot and sell them during the event.

Swap meet vendor spots are $30 and includes two standard parking spaces in the swap meet area lot next to the Show N' Shine. To reserve a spot in the swap-meet portion of the event call customer service @ 800-444-6473.

All Swap Meet attendees are responsible for cleaning up and removing all items after the event.  MESD graciously lets us use their parking lot for this event-   Please be respectful and clean your area of all items before you leave.  Thank you!

    Music and games will be played all day throughout the event.

This year Capers Cafe will be catering the event. When it comes to catering, Capers is no stranger to handling large events.  They recently added a state-of-the-art food truck to their catering service options.   To serve our event properly, their “kitchen on wheels” will be staffed and ready for our incredible Volvo community.  Capers food truck will be located in front of IPD.  It’s not that far of a drive for Capers as their headquarters is about one block from IPD.  Capers and their staff are looking forward to catering a menu that suits the event.  They will be fully stocked on beverages, snacks, and easy to carry food so you can still walk around and enjoy the Garage Sale.  We are really excited for Capers to join us this year.  For more information, you can visit Capers Café and Catering at CAPERS CAFE AND CATERING

IPD is located a few miles east of the Portland International Airport (PDX) That means you have plenty of options for hotel accommodations if you plan on staying the weekend of our Garage Sale Event.  If you’re looking to find a hotel near IPD’s facility, here are a few within walking distance.  IPD is not affiliated with any of these hotels.  IPD provides recommended hotels within walking distance.  Other hotels can be found in the area accommodating location and travel budgets.  Thank you

Raffle 

All raffle items are donated by vendors and manufacturers that IPD partners with.  You must be present to participate in the raffle.  All proceeds will be donated to Gales Creek Camp Foundation. Raffle boxes will be labled with the associated item. Our goal is to raise as much money as we can for Gales Creek Camp.  We appreciate your cooperation and support.  Raffle tickets will be sold at different locations around the event.  There will be many stations selling and promoting raffle tickets for sale.  Thank you for your support and cooperation.

Following the raffle, we will begin to auction a few items donated by our amazing vendors.  You have to be present to participate.  All proceeds are donated to Gales Creek Camp.

Heads or Tails Game

Heads or Tails is a super fun way to get many people to participate in a shot to win two prizes.  Heads or Tails is a process of elimination game.  If you purchase the Heads or Tails game you will get two carrds, one that says “Heads” and the other that says “Tails”.  Everyone will gather around and hold up one card of their choice, an IPD representative will flip a coin, if the coin lands on what you’re holding up, you move on to the next round until there’s a final winner.   You get to participate in two rounds total.  The first round is for a $250.00 gift certificate to IPD, the second round is for $400.00 gift certificate to IPD.  Remember all proceeds from this game go to Gales Creek Camp.  Thank you for participating and supporting this event.  You can purchase Heads or Tails games at many locations on the day of the event.  Just ask an IPD representative where this game can be purchased.
