Part-Time / Full Time Warehouse Positions - Portland, OR

We’re currently hiring for full time and part time positions in our warehouse located close to the PDX airport. 

IPD is a 50+ year company who specializes in Volvo cars.  IPD has been working with Volvo enthusiasts around the world since 1963 providing high quality aftermarket parts, accessories, and exclusive items.  

Our warehouse incorporates different departments such as kitting, receiving, shipping, and part pulling.  We’re looking for self motivated individuals who incorporated good communication and organization skills, attention to detail, safety conscious, and holds honesty and integrity in high regard.   IPD has a strong value system and we expect the same from each one of our employees.  IPD fosters an environment that is fun and flexible.  You don’t have to be a car enthusiast to work here, but it’s not uncommon for our passion to rub off on you and eventually get you into a Volvo!   Ultimately we’re looking for individuals who have a desire to learn and possibly add a valuable experience to your resume or grow within our company. 

Shipping Responsibilities include

• Accurately picking and packaging automotive products. 
• Product Management- Following quality control procedures
• Putting material away in proper locations throughout the warehouse
• Daily housekeeping duties- Count and sort inbound products, clean work areas
• Possess great attention to detail and organization-  Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
• Utilize forklift to unload shipments.  (Forklift certified is a plus, if not we can provide certification classes)

Product Assembly Responsibilities include

• Accurately picking and packaging automotive products. 
• Product Management- Following quality control procedures
• Possess great communication skills while working with purchasing department
• Pull and combine multiple parts together to create a bundled item
• Possess great attention to detail and organization- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
• Must be able to follow written instructions, never be afraid to ask questions 
• Utilize forklift to unload shipments.  (Forklift certified is a plus, if not we can provide certification classes)
