The factory radiators on most Volvo models (and most cars in general) suffer from an inherent flaw on the radiators themselves. The metal core is affixed to plastic end tanks which are prone to cracking from age and being heat cycled for years and years. We also see issues where the upper radiator hose neck can shear clean off which results in a catastrophic loss of coolant within seconds. Do88 produces an all metal radiator which eliminates the problem with the plastic end tanks and also to put a cherry on top, incorporates a larger core for better cooling! Product Fitment Notes & Potential Issues

This fits cars with an oil cooler on the back of the oil pan, and with a coolant reservoir that plugs in to the top of the radiator. Earlier (pre-1999) cars have separate oil cooler fittings on the radiator and the nipple on the top of the radiator capped; if you have an earlier car, you need this radiator instead.
