Product Description

This timing belt tensioner from the Original Equipment Supplier to Volvo, Aisin, is a critical part of your timing belt assembly. We strongly recommend replacing this tensioner, the lever roller it presses on, the belt idler, and the water pump with any timing belt change.

Additional Technical Information

There is an easy-to-lose white plastic spacer that sits between the hydraulic tensioner and the tensioner lever. It's a decent idea to pick up a spare from Recommended Products below.
