ipd is excited to announce the opening of our all new on-site installation facility. If you‘re in the northwest or traveling in the area and would like to get your ipd performance parts and accessories installed, we can now do it for you offering excellent service, value and unsurpassed performance knowledge. We’ve always operated a small on-site R&D facility and occasionally worked on customers cars when we needed access to a particular model to test fit a new product, but as of September first we are setting appointments for performance parts installs for Volvos and Subarus. We will be focusing on the installation of our quality performance parts and accessories.
One of the key things that is making this happen is our recent partnering with Rallitek, the largest Subaru specific performance tuning facility in the Northwest (www.rallitek.com). Rallitek has been performing high end Subaru upgrades for almost five years and has quickly built a loyal following in the Northwest. Rallitek is known for their clean power train conversions, Stage 3 turbo upgrades, 3rd party engine management installations, dyno tuning and road, race, autocross and rally suspension set up. Rallitek is now our Subaru Performance division and Suby Solutions, Inc. is our Subaru parts & accessories division.
Rallitek moved into our new 10,000 sq.ft. installation center September 1st and has quickly adapted to their new Scandinavian surroundings! Rallitek's skilled technicians have many years of experience performing all levels of aftermarket upgrades, installations and tuning. Combine this with our 40+ years of modifying and upgrading Volvos and you get an unbeatable performance combination.
Our new performance installation center will be focusing on performance related upgrades using ipd and Rallitek products for Volvos and Subarus. We’ll be doing complete suspension upgrades, including anti-sway bars, springs and shocks, big brake upgrades, performance engine work such as ECU upgrades, sport exhausts, down pipes, camshafts, Aquamist water injection systems, and Turbo upgrades, (including our new stage 3 kits for 1994-2000 850 and 70 series). If it’s in our catalogs or on our website, we will be able to install it for you.
We’ve also added a new education and training area in conjunction with the installation center. We will soon be offering evening and weekend training classes for customers. The classes will be taught by our staff as well as by regional experts on subjects such as “What to look for when buying a used Volvo or Subaru”, “Care and Feeding of your Volvo or Subaru”, “Getting to know your First Car” to “Performance Basics, Understanding how Turbos, Intercoolers, Engine Management etc, all work together”, “Suspension Upgrades”, etc. We’ll also be offering “How-To” classes covering common do-it-yourself jobs like timing belts, valve adjustment, carb synchronizing, Mac Pherson Strut replacement, 240 seat rebuilding, etc.
We’re very excited about offering this new service in house as it will provide our customer service staff more hands on experience with our wide range of products to better serve you and when you ask “ Where can I get my ipd thing-a- ma-jiggy installed” we can answer, “Right here!”
