Seller's Price: $3,500 Location: Albany, CA Mileage: 243,272 miles Transmission: Automatic Exterior Color: Silver Interior Color: Black We are the 2nd owners of this 1992 Volvo 240 Wagon. The 1st owners were family friends who bought it off the showroom floor of Smothers Volvo in Santa Rosa California. After serving as their family ride, it was handed down to the oldest daughter for college. Then her younger sister got it when she went off to college. We bought it for our daughter too when she left for school. This has got to be the smartest 240 Wagon in existence considering how much time it spent at school!! Since it was the main ride for our girls for all those years…we kept it carefully maintained, often at Smothers Volvo dealership. I have the COMPLETE maintenance file since leaving the showroom. When I bought the car, I started doing the work. Here’s what‘s been done last couple years with mainly great IPD Parts. Replaced the front struts & rear shocks. New Michelin Tires from Costco. Front aligned Timing belt & idler arm replaced. Transmission Flushed, serviced & shifter rebuilt. Radiator flush. New spark plugs. Exhaust Manifold Gasket replaced. New front rotors & pads…Flushed brake lines. Rear brakes inspected, still OK. New Interstate Battery New Rear Hatch Struts & Wiring harness. Rear wiper & Pwr lock now work. The Air conditioner doesn’t work but the heater is incredible! One day it came home from school with a NEW STEREO! A Pioneer with a USB connection. New Pioneer Speakers too!( I thought my money was going for books?) My Daughter used it for her IPhone music mainly and it sounds pretty good!! Yes, of course it has dings. Several. The car was backed into something that flexed the rear bumper pretty good…Nope…nobody knew nothin bout no bumper flexin when I wanted answers. Eventually it came out that while leaving a party, "someone" backed into a dumpster. Since it was small and cosmetic,It stayed that way...
1963 Volvo 544 Texas car, no rust ever, White w/ blue interior, restored. Correct am/fm Volvo radio, period correct Volve tach. Runs great and complete down to the chain for the engine shade. New brake lines, new shocks, new mud flaps, new turn signal switch, and dual exhaust with a great sound. First year of the 12 volt system, nice bright lights. Records, tool kit, owners manual, it's all there and for less than the cost of a restoration. Since I drive it a lot, delivery is possible. You'll be proud to put this car in your collection. Not many left like this one. $18k Questions, comments to me at 617-428-5762 days, Tom Tate - Boston

1993 Volvo 240 DL Sedan w/ M47 Manual Shift Around 200k KM's - dark blue/blue int. Body is in amazing shape! I want this car to go to a Volvo lover who know 240’s. I'm the second owner - bought it off the original owner almost three years ago and she still keeps in touch via email. Its been a great 240 (my 4th) but unfortunately life is changing and now I need a car to commute about 200km/day (with much better fuel mileage). I'd keep this car to restore but we don't have a garage to store it. The car has never been involved in an accident. The good: - black virgo rims with Nokian WRG3 All weathers (just under a year old... less than 5k km's on them - IPD sway bars, front & back - aftermarket heater valve by Wagonmeister (the heater actually turns off!) - new RPM sensor - new air mass meter - tune-up - recent oil change - oil sprayed - complete service history - new alternator - new belts - new IPD accessory bushings - new Volvo engine mounts Parts to come with car: - brand new brembo front brake rotors - brand new Volvo front brake pads - brand new balljoints - a bunch of other parts including IPD poly bushes, etc The bad: - needs some exhaust work - parking brake needs new pads My price reflects the IPD parts and new tires (these Nokian all weathers are rated as winter tires so they can be used all year round... they were better than my old X-Ice's last winter season). I am open to offers but you must come see the car first. The car is located in Port Hope, Ontario, Canada but viewings in the eastern part of the GTA or near my work (Church & Dundas W) may be arranged. The car will be sold as-is. Note: if you live in Peterborough and left a note on my dashboard to inquire about buying this car, pls contact me... I lost your note.
